This aristocratic and democratic city-republic is one of the most beautiful places in the world and it is visited by millions of people every year. The world known writer and the founder of double bookkeeping, Benedikt Kotruljevi\u0107, once said: &#8220;He who has a vocation, has a secure life!&#8221; &#8211; so it has become our school motto.<br \/>\nOur school for Economy and Trade was founded in 1913 by a decision of the Viennese Ministry of Education is a vocational school. The school provides students with education in the sectors of economics, trade and business administration for the professions: economist, commercialist, business secretary, administrative officer in a 4-year program and shop assistant in a 3-year program, for aproximatelly 350 students per year.<br \/>\nThe students complete their secondary education by writing and defending their final thesis and thus acquire their first profesional rank, which enables them to be included in the process of employment and work.<br \/>\nAll the school activities are aimed at developing and achieving basic competences of students important for lifelong learning: communication in mother tongue and foreign language, basic competences in science and technology, digital competences, social and civic competences, entrepreneurship and initiative, developing cultural awareness and creativity. We are proud to have marked the 100th anniversary of our school in 2013.<br \/>\nOUR MISSION:<br \/>\n&#8220;We create enviorment that encourages students to learn!
